FESCO's OfficeFESCO's governing Board is comprised of members elected from 26 churches and three community organizations in southern Alameda County, California.
The Executive Director is responsible to the Board and manages FESCOs administrative functions, fund development, and community relations. The Program Director oversees all services to FESCOs families at the Shelter, the Transitional Housing apartments, and the Banyan House transitional co-housing facility.
24 employees are professional staff (22 of whom provide direct services to FESCO families).
Volunteers are an important part of FESCO's providing services to families. Each year, over 200 individual volunteers contribute over 7,000 hours of service, in such diverse ways as yard maintenance, statistical analysis, conducting life skills workshops, story telling, and filing/copying/running errands!
